Aircraft Carrier Life – Cat 4 Topside Petty Officer – Video #2

The Catapult Topside Petty Officer’s job is to ensure the safety of all personnel on the flight deck during launching operations, and to ensure the proper hook-up of the aircraft to the catapult.

This video is very similar to https://youtu.be/e-V0dKwyu6E except this one is a few different aircraft and I’m using a chest mount instead of a helmet mount.

– Note: I’ve begun cutting the raw footage to make shorter videos. This’ll help cut out some of the down-time between the taxiing of the aircraft to the cat, to the launch (usually 3-8 minutes), and the downtime between an “early” launch and an “on-time” launch (about 5-7 minutes). Thoughts? –
